Two salukis and three Dubai communities, which one would you pick?
We have two salukis, brother and sister, six years old, and they need space to run more than anything else in their lives. This year we are buying a townhouse in Dubai and the dogs are the main criterion, which my mother finds very funny.
Three places on our list:
Arabian Ranches: big parks, quiet streets, dogs everywhere in the evening. Further from my office.
Dubai Hills: newer, good walking loops, smaller gardens.
Damac Hills: a dog park inside the community and the golf course edge for long walks, but some buildings are strict about pets.
For three months I have been going through https://emirates.estate/ every weekend and writing down which townhouses have a garden longer than ten metres, because a saluki needs a run-up even at home.
For dog people who have moved with sighthounds: what mattered most in the end, the garden or the park nearby?
