CANIS is an initiative co-created by the Association of Professional Dog Training International (APDT International) and Aggressive Dog Inc, in collaboration with over a dozen organizations committed to advancing science-based, humane care for dogs.

Is the Conference in-person or virtual?
Both! We will be live-streaming the in-person event from Charlotte, NC using a professional studio team! You can participate in the conference form the comfort of your home, or choose to attend in person.

What are the times?
Presentations will run from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM US Eastern Time each day (6 AM PST / 7 AM Mountain / 8 AM Central)
The Exhibit Hall will have dedicated hours at lunch each day and from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM US Eastern Time on Friday and Saturday. There will also be a cocktail reception from 7:00 PM-9:30 PM US Eastern Time on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 for in-person attendees. The reception and exhibit hall tour will be livestreamed as well!

Can I watch the recordings afterwards?
Yes, the conference will be recorded by our professional studio team and you have access to the recordings for 1 full year, whether you make the live broadcast or attend in-person or not.
​
How about CEUs?
Yes we offer 19.5 CEUs for CCPDT, IAABC, KPA, PPAB, IACP, and PPGA whether you watch the livestream, attend in-person or watch the recordings.

In order to receive CEUs OR a certificate of attendance, you must provide a code for each lecture, this code will be given out randomly during each presentation.

You will need to note the codes for all the presentations before submitting them online HERE.

A printable question sheet will be made available so that you can collect all the codes before entering them online.

All attendees (with the exception of RACE) have until September 29th, 2026 to complete the CEU quiz. (One FULL YEAR from the last day of the conference).

CEU certificates can be downloaded and printed after the codes have been entered successfully.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 60 days before the event, July 27th, 2025, for a full refund. After that deadline, no refunds will be issued. Transfer your individual registration to another person before July 31st, 2025. Cancel or transfer your registration to another person by sending an email to conference@aggressivedog.com.

How will I know where and when to log in for the livestream?
Login instructions will be emailed to you with your registration as well as the week of the conference. For this conference we will not be using Zoom, instead the livestream is using the Accelevents platform accessed through your web browser.
