photo of Sherri Lippman Sherri Lippman began her dog-training career in 1970 by raising German Shepherds for Seeing Eye. Obedience Competition was next and she trained and titled a number of German Shepherd Dogs through the upper levels of obedience. Sherri continued her canine education working at several local obedience clubs and has competed successfully in dog obedience trials. While getting her degrees in behavioral psychology and counseling, Sherri's dog training career continued with training and working Search and Rescue dogs as well as doing Pet Therapy visits at hospitals. Recently, Sherri helped start a "doggy daycare" in Richmond and was the training director for the dog training classes focusing on pet dog ownership and solving basic behavior problems.

Sherri and her partner, Virginia Broitman, produced the well-known clicker video, Take A Bow . . . Wow! Together, they give seminars and workshops around the country for those who are interested in refining their clicker training skills and learning more about trick training. Sherri is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, (APDT) where she and Virginia recently gave a lecture and workshop at their 6th Annual International Education Conference in San Diego.

Currently, Sherri owns Citizen Canine, Inc., which provides private instruction and behavior counseling based on positive reinforcement techniques. As a dog trainer and canine behavior specialist, Sherri travels around central Virginia area. She still offers group-training classes on a limited basis. Sherri's two German Shepherd dogs, horses, several cats, chickens and any other animal she comes in contact with all enjoy the benefits of clicker training.
