SEMINAR PROGRAM
6.5 CEU's
AGGRESSION WORKSHOP
Monday • July 29th • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Limited to 35 people for close-up, personalized aspects: a must for anyone working with dogs. Information from Saturday's lecture, or comparable experience, is useful preparation for this workshop. Preference for those registered for Saturday-Sunday seminar.

Comprehensive review of body language and facial expression. A wide variety of live dogs (& some video) show the range of dog signals. Attendees will also evaluate the interaction, so they develop the observation skills and learn to interpret what they are seeing, up close and personal-- how aggressive dogs telegraph a bite long before they growl, snarl or snap. Emphasis on dog-dog interactions with some dog-human as well.

Participants will be divided in groups and work directly on scoring behaviors using Sue's Assess-A-Pet score sheets. You will read and record the subtle signals of aggression. Critiques of many of the individual score sheets will be given to help you hone your skills.
