DAYS ONE & TWO examine the relationship that owners have with their dogs, defining
what is meant by aggression as distinct from an aggressive display, genetics, the role of the
environment in development, breed traits and learning theories.

DAY THREE looks at behavior modification programs used in reversing aggressive
behavior and also looks at spontaneous recovery, allellomimetic behavior, the effect of
hormones on aggressive behavior and the reduction of aggression through control training.

| ABOUT JOHN ROGERSON | ||||||
John Rogerson is the founder and principle lecturer of the Northern Centre for Canine Behaviour. He is widely acclaimed as one of the world's leading trainer/behaviourists, having pioneered many of the techniques that have now become standard practice in behaviour therapy and training. John is the author of seven books and has produced two videos. John is in great demand as a training and behaviour consultant and in this capacity runs many courses worldwide to impart his skills and knowledge to others. The organisations that he has run courses for and lectured to include:
John has recently been given the honour of being invited to sit on the committee of the Companion Animal Welfare Council, whose function is to advise Parliament on issues relating to companion animals in the U.K. John is a founder member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and is the founder of Support Dogs and Dog Aid. |

Rondout Valley Animals for Adoption New York State Thruway (I 87) to Exit 19 Kingston (91 miles north of New York City or 51 miles south of Albany, NY). After toll, stay to the farthest right at the round-about, and follow signs for Route 28 to Route 209. After about 1/4 mile on Route 28 go through one light and almost immediately thereafter take Route 209 South in the direction of Ellenville. Stay on Route 209 South for exactly 13 miles, and just past Sparrow Hawk Bed and Breakfast, you will come to Rondout Valley Animals for Adoption on the right. Seminar will be held in the large blue training building closest to the road. | ||||||
